Did you know?

Yes! Recent advancements in imaging devices and light engines now allow state of the art home cinema projectors to provide higher resolution, higher contrast (HDR), and color gamut way beyond current motion picture standards.

To enjoy the excitement the full excitement of your dream custom home cinema system, you need quality equipment and a well-designed, professional installation. We can provide everything you need including stunning screen and displays, surround sound system speakers and components, receivers, blu-ray and digital players, and even home automation.

Most home theater systems are 16:9 aspect ratio. However, over 70% of all major motion pictures are show in a wider cinematic aspect ratio typically between 2.35:1 to 2.40:1, meaning their width is 2.35 to 2.40 times their height.

With the right projector and configuration it is now possible to display your current Blu Ray and other movie content in their native 2:35:1 aspect ratio without the grey bars on top and bottom and allow the full resolution and brightness of the projector to be utilized.

When a feature film shot in 2:35:1 is displayed on a typical 16:9 display, these beautiful, dramatic, and action-packed films are compressed to fit the smaller frame creating noticeable “letterbox” bars. This causes a loss of brightness and resolution. In addition, you are not getting a full 1080p image, regardless of the resolution of your display.

We can help you understand this and demonstrate how to get the most out of your home theater system.

Although 4K Ultra HD displays are still more expensive than High Definition 1080p options, they have come down, in price, dramatically making viewing 4K in your home possible – which is higher resolution than most of the theaters you’ve been to in town.

A home theater is perfect for watching an Ultra HD 4k image, as you will be able to see a bigger difference in 4k vs. 1080p compared to a large flatscreen TV.
